Day 13 | Cruising Day AT SEA

Day 14 | Newcastle
8am - 5pm. Newcastle is a fantastic harbour city in New South Wales. Its plentiful beaches are linked by the Bathers Way, a coastal walk stretching between Nobbys Beach and Lighthouse as well as Merewether Beach. The walk provides access to Bogey Hole, a convict-built ocean bath from the colonial period. Also on the path is the 1880s Fort Scratchley, a historic site and a viewpoint for spotting migrating whales. You may also enjoy the numerous cafe and pub options on Hunter & Scott streets. Or perhaps visit the Newcastle museum or Blackbutt Nature Reserve in nearby Kotara.

Day 15 | Sydney

The ship ports right in the vibrant Rocks District full of shops, cafe's, pubs, & retaurants. Close by is Circular Quay with easy and quick access to Manly Beach or the fantastic Sydney Zoo. Day 16 | Cruising Day AT SEA

Day 17 | Cruising Day AT SEA

Day 19 | Napier
9am - 6pm. After shuttling in to Napier from the port, you'll find a coastal city set amid the renowned wine-producing region of Hawke's Bay. Rebuilt after a 1931 earthquake, the city is known for many art deco landmarks like the zigzag-patterned Daily Telegraph Building. You may also enjoy the National Aquarium of New Zealand, head out of town to view the dramatic sandstone cliffs of Cape Kidnappers and visit the beautiful Gannet bird colony.

Day 20 | Wellington
9am - 7pm. Located at the southwestern tip of North Island, New Zealand's capital city derives its character and charm from the wooded hills that curve like a green amphitheater around Wellington's harbor. Despite its steep hills, much of the city can be explored on foot, with stairways and walking paths climbing Wellington's slopes. Bright red cable cars operate between Lambton Quay and Kelburn, offering magnificent views from the top. New Zealand's versatile capital provides attractions ranging from historic manuscripts to an assortment of native plants and flowers and a collection of unusual instruments -- in short, something for everyone.

Day 21 | Lyttelton/Christchurch
7am - 6pm. Christchurch, known for its English heritage, is located on the Avon River on New Zealand's South Island. Take a shuttle bus into the city and explore how the Garden City has been revitalized following the 2011 earthquake. Wander the green expanse of the Botanic Gardens and Hagley Park along the Avon River or even take a speedboat down the Waimakariri River. In the port of Lyttelton, consider a Christchurch Gondola ride for incredible 360-degree views of Christchurch and the Southern Alps.

Day 22 | Dunedin
7am - 5pm. This city lies at the head of a fjord-like inlet and is surrounded by seven hills. It is said to be the most perfectly preserved Victorian city anywhere. Dunedin Scottish heritage is everywhere, from a statue of Robert Burns in the Octagon -- the eight-sided heart of the central city -- to the country's only whiskey distillery. In addition, a jewel in the city's architectural crown is the first Church of Otago. The imposing railway station is worth visiting if only for its locomotives reproduced in stained glass.

Day 23 | Cruising: Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound & Dusky Sound, New Zealand

Dusky Sound:
8am - 9am Cruise Dusky Sound, New Zealand's longest fjord, is also one of the most beautiful, with numerous wooded islands and inlets. It was given its name by Captain Cook, who sailed past the fjord on his first voyage, in 1770, as evening was falling. The upper reaches of the sound are steep-sided, and the high precipitation of the region leads to hundreds of waterfalls cascading into the sound during the rainy season. You may also have an opportunity to spot some of the area's wildlife in the water, such as dolphins and seals.

Doubtful Sound:
11am - 12pm Cruise the grandeur of towering peaks descending into deep waters, outstanding waterfalls and fjords covered with ancient vegetation, all make up the unforgettable solitude and serenity of Doubtful Sound, New Zealand. First named "Doubtful Harbour" by Captain Cook, who was unsure of whether or not the inlet was navigable, was later renamed Doubtful Sound by whalers and sealers. The sound is home to several large waterfalls, notably Helena Falls at Deep Cove, and the Browne Falls, which have a fall of over 600 meters. The fjord also protects the southernmost population of bottlenose dolphins as well as fur seals, penguins, and numerous sea creatures such as sea anemones, coral and starfish.

Milford Sound:
4:30pm - 6pm Cruise Milford Sound is the undisputed jewel of Fiordland National Park. Because of its outstanding natural beauty and cultural significance, Milford Sound has been nominated a World Heritage area. See Bowen Falls, spectacular Mitre Peak, Tutoko Glacier and the Underwater Observatory in Harrison Cove -- a unique opportunity to look under the dark waters of Milford Sound and see the life teeming below. In fact, when you descend the 60 steps of the underwater viewing platform, you will see how much natural light penetrates these seemingly dark waters.
